Liang Tang

Liang Tang is a native of Beijing who went to the US in 1979 to pursue her college education.In 1986 she returned to native country,one of the first of her generation to come back.

Ower the last twenty years Tang has held a variety of positions in both commercial and non-profit organizations.She held positions in consulting,marketing and sales in Unison lntenational and pioneered the importation of international-standard building materials and design services.Tang next joined Westinghouse as a marketing and sales manager in their auutomation division.For seven years she and Spear operated a value-added distribution and trading company where she was responsible for sales of electic power automation systems.

Tang then turned to the non-profit sector where she served as a government relations director for Smile Train,a U.S.charitable orgnization.One of her accomplishments was to plan and produce a major conference and dinnder at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing attended by over 2,000 invited guests including many senior Chinese leaders and former President George H.Bush who was the keynote speaker.Tang slso served as a volunteer and vice chairman of the American Education and Health Foundation.

At China Bound Tang handles the complex and myriad issues in govemment relations,as well as site procurement and assists in business development.
