The Schoolhouse at Mutianyu Great Wall

Schoolhouse Canteen was opened in September 2006 to provide casual Westem and fusion dining based on fresh local ingredients in an unique setting with consistently high quality ser-vice,including moderm and clean restroom facilities. The restaurant complements the range of small-scale retail,art,and craft activities across the entire park-like campus.The Art Room dou-bles as a venue for gatherings,seating up 120 people for sit-down.There is also a private Great Wall view terrace as well as a premium dining roon called the Smithy which was once the village blacksmith shop.The Schoolhouse consistently ranks as one of the top restau-rants around Beijing on Trip Advisor and is included in many on-line and print guides to the Great Wall.In 2009 The Schoolhouse was recognized as the best sustainable communities in Asia pacific by an intemational panel of experts as the premier hospitality conference,HICAP.

Xiaolumian

Xiaolumian,which opened in November 2006,was developed in Beigou,a small village near Mutianyu that shares the same fantastic views of th Great Wall but that previously had unpainted wood farmhouse set in a small orchard with pears. chestnuts.and persimmons.Xiaolumian was recognized in the initimate private parties and authentic hommemade noodles for groups up to 36 people.

Roadhouse

The Roadhouse opened in October 2007 in time for trial runs and inspections to ourr big Olympics year when this venue was chosen by NBC to host meals for its corporate large Chi-nese restaurant,in the area.Besides a variety of dining and meeting facilities the site holds our finance department,central stores,main kitchen gardens.The Roadhouse serves traditional local foods made with a light touch and specializes in large tour and corporate groups up to 250 guests.
